Miscellaneous Information
Geoffrey was born at Edmonton, Alberta on 10 January 1922. His father was born in Ontario and worked as a farmer, and his mother was born in Ireland. The schools he attended were Bon Accord 1929-1937 and again in 1937-1940. The sports he took part in were hockey and baseball. Geoffrey then enlisted on 22 November 1940. |
After training he was posted to the U.K. and embarked from Canada on 18 September 1941, arriving at 3 PRC on 28 September. He was then at 20 OTU on 20 October 1941 and 57 Squadron 20 May 1942. He then sadly went missing on 10 September 1942. |
