Born 1914 at Corsock Bridge, Kirkcudbrightshire. He was educated at Sedberg School, Yorkshire (now Cumbria) at Glasgow School of Architecture 1932-35 and at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London until 1939. He was an architect, admitted ARIBA in July 1938. He was commissioned from Flight Sergeant (1117113) to Pilot Officer in July 1942 and promoted to Flight Lieutenant in August 1944. |
