Translation "On December 16th, 1943 Lancaster Mk II DS831 of No 432 Royal Canadian Air Force took off for a raid on Berlin. Over Leeuwarden the aircraft was shot down by a German nightfighter. Six crew were killed and 2 bailed out to become POWs." |
