The ORB does not mention the difficulties that this aircraft got into that caused Sgt Kearney and the Mid-Upper Gunner, Sgt Churchill, to be injured. The aircraft landed at Manston at 16:18 hrs either to get urgent medical help for the two injured men, or because the aircraft was badly damaged, or both. |
