Miscellaneous Information
| Kenneth was born on 11 November 1915 in Toronto. His father, who was retired, was born in Orangeville, Ontario and his mother was born in Scotland. Kenneth had two brothers and four sisters. The schools Kenneth attended were Parkdale & McMurrich 1922-1931, Western Commercial 1936-1938 (bookkeeping), Central and Western 1931-1936, Industrial and physics and De LaSalle ( business course). The sports Kenneth was interested in were swimming, golf, baseball and bike riding. Also, hunting, fishing and guns. He worked for E. Rudd Amusements 1934-1935 as a manager of rides, at Dominion Stores as a clerk 1935-1936 and at Dominion Wheel as a Core maker 1936-1938. |
| Kenneth enlisted in Toronto on 22 June 1940 and after training embarked for the U.K., arriving at 3 PRC 2 March 1941. His journey continued through 14 OTU 15 March 1941, 19 OTU 24 May 1941, and on to 10 Squadron 1 September 1941. A few days later on 12 September, Kenneth sadly lost his life |
