Miscellaneous Information
| Family members and the 1939 Register confirm that his name was actually Thomas James Irwin, although he was widely known as Jim so may have swapped his names around when enlisting. Although the Commonwealth War Graves Commission burial record states that the headstone should say J T Thomas, in fact it does not. |
