Miscellaneous Information
Sgt. Eddy Humes was the sole survivor but sustained multiple breaks to one leg and spent time in several German hosptials before becoming a PoW. He became a school teacher when demobilised. He unveiled the memorial near the crash site on 11 July 1998. |
