Miscellaneous Information
F/Sgt Bloomfield and Sgt Hales were captured and taken into custody by the local police force at Koenig. Before they could be handed over to PoW authorities a group of local Nazis removed the men from police custody and took them to a nearby field where they were shot dead. |
