Born 9 November 1918 in Flekkefjord. Studied economics. Participated in the battles for Rjukan during the war in Norway in 1940. Actively participated in the Home Front until September 1941, when he fled to England on a small boat. Joined the Linge Company (a group within the SOE under the leadership of Capt. Martin Linge, which became a pool of talent for a variety of special operations in Norway). |
