Miscellaneous Information
An anecdote from Tom's family: Tom Forsyth's sister was out walking her dog one day in the early 1980s when she met and got chatting with a fellow dog walker. Somehow they got around to chatting about relatives and it transpired that the man had been in the RAF. After further conversation it turned out he was one of the ground mechanics and had worked on PD343 prior to it flying from Bari to the UK. A few tears were shed and she never met the man again. |
