Souviens toi - A L'aube du 17 Juin 1942 un bombardier Stirling du 7° Sqn de la RAF s'écrase dans la plaine de notre village. Gloire à ces jeunes aviateurs qui ont combattu et donné leurs vies pour la liberté. Citovens qui se sont distingués par leur bravoure pour le sauvetage d'aviateurs Simone et André Duverte hébergèrent Henry Haszard copilote , Monsieur le commissaire Octave Blondel en fonction en 1942 Henriette Clerc et Gilles Sénéchai son époux participerent aux filières d'évosions d'aviateurs
Translation "Remember - at dawn on June 17, 1942, a Stirling bomber from 7 Sqn RAF crashed in the plain of our village. Glory to these young aviators who fought and gave their lives for freedom. Citizens who distinguished themselves by their bravery in the rescue of aviators Simone and André Duverte hosted Henry Haszard, co-pilot, Commissioner Octave Blondel, in office in 1942 Henriette Clerc and Gilles Sénéchai, her husband, participated in the aviator evasion networks" |
