Miscellaneous Information
This crew had already endured a bailing out on 19 October 1940 on their return from an attack on the Lunen aluminium factory. Unable to land due to bad weather, they abandoned their aircraft and parachuted safely in open countryside. The aircraft crashed near Maltby. See AIR 27/807. |
