Philip Creswell received a Mention in Despatches in the King’s Birthday Honours 11 June 1942 For distinguished services rendered (Published in the Second Supplement to The London Gazette of Friday, 5 June 1942) on the recommendation of 3 Group Bomber Command’s Commanding Officer, Air Vice Marshall J. E. A. (Jack) Baldwin. He also received a Bomber Command Meritorious Flight commendation in May 1941 which is entered in his Flying Log Book. |
