| Reason for Aircraft Loss | Crashed on Sommerstrasse 6, Solingen. Two airmen survived but were trapped in the wreckage- Woodrow and Watson. Most passers-by ignored their plea for help but Fritz Schulze instead shot them both dead. Schulze was tried and sentenced to death by hanging on 17 July 1947. |
