En ce lieu, dans la nuit du 18 juillet 1944, lors d'une opération de parachutage à destination des maquis, deux avions alliés se sont écrasés. 7 aviateurs Britanniques périrent pour notre liberté. Qu'ils en soient à jamais glorifiés.
Translation "On this spot, on the night of July 18, 1944, during a parachute drop operation aimed at the resistance, two Allied planes crashed. Seven British airmen perished for our freedom. May they be forever glorified." |
