Cambrai and Caen attacks were scattered but Amiens, Arras and Poitiers were accurate. 23 aircraft were Lost (3.4%) including that of Charles Mynarski VC, the subject of the Canadian Lancaster 'Vera'. |
| Reason for Aircraft Loss | Many sources, including Chorley and Clutton-Brock list this serviceman as R F W Buskmar and state that he became a PoW. If he did indeed become a PoW, it was only for a matter of hours since he died on the date of the crash. |
