Miscellaneous Information
The night-fighter was himself killed later the same night. The on-board H2S radar was the first to fall into enemy hands on its second outing. The set was damaged but Telefunken were able to restore it and the subsequent research upon it lead to a countermeasure called Naxos which would enable a night-fighter to locate and home in on a bomber that was using it. |
