Born 19 January 1924, at Coventry. Resided at 2, Carthusian Road, Cheylesmore, Coventry. Attended Frederick Bird School and Coventry Technical College. Employed as a toolmaker at Coventry Gauge and Tool Ltd. Enlisted May 1942. |
His service number indicates he enlisted June 1941 onwards in Birmingham. He was promoted to Pilot Officer on 26 November 1943 and to Flying Officer on 26 May 1944 |
