Operation | Köln. 470 aircraft to attack the general area where the Kalk-Nord railway yards were situated. 2 losses (0.4%). Cloud cover caused difficulties in marking the target but the local report states that the railway yards, and also two passenger stations, were badly damaged. At least two ammunition trains exploded. Some localised damage around the yards too, with 24 deaths. |
