Reason for Loss | It is presumed that F/S Allen made away with Hurricane aircraft KX581 while the pilot (F/L E V Miller) was eating his lunch. After repeated tannoy requests for F/S Allen to report to Operations, he failed to report, and casualty procedures were subsequently taken. No trace has been found of either F/Sgt Allen or the Hurricane. |
