Operation | Homberg- to attack the Meerbeck oil plant. 183 Lancasters, all from 3 Group, 5 lost. G-H equipped raid but the weather conditions were stormy and many aircraft were not able to keep in close formation with the G-H aircraft. Bombing was consequently scattered. |
