| Reason for Aircraft Loss | T/O for training exercise whilst nearing the airfield at 1705, there appears to have been a misunderstanding in the orders to manipulate the fuel cocks as an engine cut and the Wellington dived to the ground less than a mile from the runway and caught fire. |
