Reason for Loss | Victim of a Sten gun shooting at the Crown Hotel, Bicester in which Mrs. Freda Winman (an employee at the hotel) and Jacob Louis Terblanche (an aircraft factory armourer) were also killed. The motive for the double murder and suicide seems to have been jealousy. The jury returned a verdict that Mrs. Winman and Unsworth were murdered by Terblanche. A verdict of suicide was returned in the case of Terblanche. |
