George was born on 23 August 1921 at Calgary, Alberta. He attended the Stanley Jones Public school 1927-1935 followed by Crescent Heights High School 1935-1938 (High School entrance & Jnr. Matric). He also went to a Technical School between 1938 - 1939, where he studied aeronautics. |
After arrival in the UK he was posted to 1654 CU on 12 October 1942 and 207 Squadron on 9 December 1942. No other movements are shown on his records. He sadly lost his life from 207 Squadron on 29 April 1940. |
His service number should perhaps more correctly be given as R/14063A |
