Reason for Loss | Shot down by a night fighter flown by Oblt. Martin Drewes of 7./NJG3 detached to IV./NJG1 south of Texel at 02.40 hrs (his 5th victory). Crashed at De Hors at the southern tip of the island of Texel. It crashed close to Pole 8 (the beach is 30km long and each kilometer is marked with a pole). |
