Miscellaneous Information
| Emery was born at Fisher Branch, Manitoba on 1 October 1916. He attended Fisher Branch school 1924-1935. Emery had a sister Cecile, and three brothers Leo, George and Victor. His hobbies were woodwork and model aircraft, and sports were mainly baseball, football, and hockey. He had worked as a chauffeur and as a clerk. |
| Emery enlisted on 17 April 1937. After being called up for service and initial training he was posted to the U.K. and embarked from New York on 8 October 1943, arriving at 3 PRC on 17 October 1943. He was then at 18 OTU on 26 October 1943, then 82 OTU on 27 October 1943. Sadly Emery then lost his life on 2 January 1944. |
