| Reason for Aircraft Loss | Took off 1934 and crashed about 1 minute later. Apparently, the observer called out to say he could see a light, and the pilot, thinking a collision was imminent, banked steeply and lost control. In retrospect, it is thought P/O Edwards had caught sight of a bright star. |
