Miscellaneous Information
Born in the UK and emigrated to New Zealand. His brother Lesley Mcdonald Rawlings was a Mosquito pilot in 488 Sqn RNZAF and was killed six weeks before his brother, on 31/8/43, aged 20. The brothers are buried side by side in Cambridge City Cemetery. Another brother, Alf, was a PoW. Their mother passed away during the war. |
