Reason for Loss | Swung and collided with a 12 Sqn Lancaster JA922 which was parked on a dispersal. ED732 was struck off charge on 1 September and JA922, which was less than a month old, was repaired on site by a civilian contractor and returned to service and was damaged several more times with numerous units, although it survived the war only to be scrapped in May 1947. |
