Reason for Loss | Shot down by Lt. August Geiger of 7./NJG1 flying from Trenthe & operating in Box 4c, Diepenhe. Crashed in vicinity of Brunen near Wesel at approx. 23.02hrs. The crew were initially buried in Brunen Municipal Cemetery except for the W/Op, Sgt. Burson, whose body was never found. |
