| Sgt Meadows was only on active service for a short while, having completed his pilot training at Kidlington in December 1940/ January 1941 before then completing a conversion course to type at RAF Benson. He and his wife were billeted with a Mrs Anne Fell. His wife was only a few weeks pregnant (with a son, Clive) when Sgt Meadows was killed |
