| Reason for Aircraft Loss | Airborne 15:19 for a Night Flying Test and climbed normally to around 800 feet, when the aircraft was seen to bank steeply to the left before the left wing and tail section departed. The out of control aeroplane smashed into the Dorsigton road near Pebworth, circa 6 miles SW of the airfield. |
