John Llewelyn joined the RAF October 1940. He trained as a pilot at Terrell Air Base, Dallas Texas, USA in 1941, then served as a pilot in 88 Squadron, flying Bostons, and had completed a tour, following which he was screened from operations and was posted to 19OTU where he was killed in flying accident on Ben Macduhi, Scotland. |
