Reason for Loss | Aircraft took off from Hixon for a night cross country exercise, returned to base on completion and made what seemed to be a good landing. However the Pilot opened up and took off for a second circuit, climbed away too steeply and stalled the aircraft at 1,000 feet, unable to regain control of the situation the Wellington hit trees and crashed at The Rectory at Ingestre Park near Weston and less than one mile from the airfield.
