Reason for Loss | Shot down by marine flak and the fire from several Kreigsmarine Vessels anchored in Ronne Harbour. Crashed into the Baltic West of the island of Bornholm. Thick fog covered the area at the time. Over the next few days wreckage was found in the area and a body was found floating in the water with an attached parachute, however the body sank before it could be recovered. |
