Date of birth 24th February 1924. He had two brothers: Harry Sidney Leslie Hamoniaux and John Kenneth Hamoniaux. |
He enjoyed boxing. He was employed by the Bata shoe company before enlisting. |
Initially buried in Droupt St. Marie churchyard and transferred to Terlincthun in 1983. Memorials to Gordon also exist in St. Mary's Church, Corringham, Essex and the Bata War Memorial, Tilbury. |
