The three cadets that were tragically killed when JB153 crashed were all from 1180 (Buxton) Sqn, Chapel-en-le-Frith Flight which was in camp at RAF Elsham Wold where two Lancasters that were bought by the town were stationed. The money was raised as part of the "Wings for Victory" week. |
