Viegtuigcrash Whitley BD201 Wervershoof. In de nacht van 25 op 26 Juni 1942 werden 1.062 bommenwerpers, waaronder Wellingtons, Stirlings en Whitleys, van de Royal Air Force uitgezonden om de scheepswerven en de Focke-Wulf vilegtulgfabrick in Bremen te bombarderen. Het was de derde Thousand Bomber Raid van 1942, waarbi Duitse steden met oorlogsindustrie door zoveel bommenwerpers werden aangevallen.
