Reason for Loss | Aircraft took off from Saltby at 0925 hrs for a Dual Instruction flight. 40 minutes into the flight the Wellington was stalled at 2000 feet with its undercarriage and flaps down. Before the Wellington could be fully recovered it hit the ground and burst into flames, 8miles North East of Boston Lincolnshire. There were no survivors |
