Miscellaneous Information
| Bruce was born on 21 November 1919 at Granby, Quebec. Both parents were born in Granby and his father was a Celluloid worker. Known siblings are Lawrence, Donald, William and a sister Helen. He attended Granby High school 1925-1938 (High school leaving). His hobbies were photography and reading and sport interests, golf, tennis, baseball and hockey. Bruce worked as a Pay Master at MacDonald Metal Products for six months in 1938 and then as an Inspector at British American Silk Mills. |
| He enlisted on 18 July 1940 and after training embarked for the U.K. He arrived at 3 PRC on 19 April 1941, then went on to 11 OTU 26 April 1941 and 12 Squadron on 8 July 1941. It was from there on 26 March 1942 that Bruce sadly lost his life. |
