Ter nagedachtenis aan de geallieerde piloten, die tijdens de Tweede Weraldoorlog in en rond Zwolle zijn gesneuveld. Op 21 Januari 1942 stortte de Handley Page Hampden ZN-D/106 Sqn van de RAF neer in het buurischap Spoolde. Hierbij kwam de 21 - jarige Sergeant Aubrey Wilfred Deere om het leven. De stuurboordpropeller van het toestel werd op 29 September 1988 teruggevonden en maakt nu deel uit van dit gedenkieken
Translation "In memory of the Allied pilots who were killed in and around Zwolle during the Second World War.
