Miscellaneous Information
Some records state 17 SFTS, not 17 OTU. If true, possibly killed on Oxford II serial R6342 at Cranwell but why buried at Blackpool? Could be because extended family lived in the Blackpool area but given that 17 OTU Bristol Blenheim V5565 crashed into Morecombe Bay on the same day, it is highly likely that he was on board the latter.
