Hommage aux Aviateurs du Lancaster ND825 - Le Lancaster ND825 AS-J2 du No. 166 Sqn décolle de RAF Kirmington, dans le nord du Lincolnshire, à 21h25, le 21 avril 1944. 322 Avro Lancaster et un De Havilland Mosquito qui proviennent de diverses bases aériennes en Angleterre participent au raid. Translation "Tribute to the Airmen of Lancaster ND825 - Lancaster ND825 AS-J2 of No. 166 Sqn took off from RAF Kirmington, North Lincolnshire, at 9:25 PM on April 21, 1944. 322 Avro Lancasters and one De Havilland Mosquito, operating from various air bases in England, participated in the raid. Their target was the tank engine and gearbox factories in Friedrichshafen. Three crashed in the Vosges Mountains that night, including ND825." |
