Reason for Loss | Take off 1856 for evening detail. The port engine lost power, and whilst on finals to Little Rissington airfield, crashed into the back garden of the Lamb Inn at Great Rissington, 16 miles ESE of Cheltenham. Five crew killed, one (tail gunner) injured. |
