Each year in November the local people of Harderwijk hold a ceremony to honour the 43 airmen who lie in their cemetery. |
He was the son of the Postmaster in the village of Ballaugh, Isle of Man and he worked in the Post Office, firstly in Ramsey and later moved to London. His name appears on the war memorial in Ballaugh. He had a brother in the Royal Air Force who survived the war. |
