Reason for Loss | Aircraft took off at 2311hrs. During the operation the aircraft was hit by flak. The crew managed to regain the East Anglia coast. At 0333hrs near Seething, 9 miles SE of Norwich, 6 of the crew bailed out. Flying Officer Clark attempted a forced landing, but crashed in the process. |
