Reason for Loss | Aircraft took off at 2052hrs on special night exercise. The aircraft was carrying 4 x 500lb general purpose bombs, IFF, GEE and a camera. In the vicinity of Wymeswold the aircraft dived into the ground crashing at 2302hrs. At the time of the crash the aircraft was 22 miles off track. |
