Miscellaneous Information
Louis was born on 11 February 1922 at Levis, Quebec. His father worked for CNR as a conductor and both parents were born in Levis. The schools he attended were Ecole Michaud 1927-1931 (Primary) and College de Levis 1931-1940 ( Classique) Junior Matric. The sports he took part in were tennis, swimming and skating. He spent two years in the Militia- 59th Heavy Battery RCA 1938-1940, Signaller. |
Louis enlisted on 8 August 1940 and embarked for the U.K. on 24 August 1941. He arrived at 3PRC on 2 September 1941 then went on to 22 OTU 25 November 1941 and then 150 Sqn on 7 May 1942. Sadly Louis was to lose his life the following month on 27 June 1942. |
