Reason for Loss | It is thought that the pilot was dazzled by the sun on emerging from cloud, although weather reports would indicate that icing was a possibility. Left the formation, banked gently and then crashed into the cliffs of Craig yr Ysfa in the Carneddau, 6 miles SSE of Bethesda. |
