Reason for Loss | Lincolnshire Echo July 10th 1942: "A verdict of "accidental death" was recorded by the South Lincoln Coroner (Mr. Reynolds Scorer) at the resumed inquest, held yesterday, on Flight-Sergt. Kenneth Camps, R.A.F., whose home was at Abbey Farm, Audley End, Saffron Waldne, Essex. Camps, it was stated was driving a motor cycle along the Branston-Waddington road in the early hours of the morning on June 11 when the machine appeared to mount the grass verge and crash. Camps was thrown forward on his face, receiving fatal injuries." |
